What Cypress Adventist School is Known For

Multi-faith Family

Does one have to be an Adventist to enroll a student at Cypress School? The answer is NO.

In recent years about 40% of our students come from belief systems other than Adventist. We believe that Gods love extends to all of his children and that his family on earth is made up of a large tent of people.

We feel that the most significant measure of spirituality is found in how we treat each other. We believe that personal spirituality and values are best expressed in behaviors and actions. While we dont hide the unique things that make us Adventist, we dont believe in forcing others to believe the way that we do.

Exceptional Teachers

Teachers at Cypress AdventistSchool are well prepared. All Cypress teachers have completed a rigorous dual certification process having certification from Washington State and by the North American Division of Seventh-Day Adventist Office of Education.

Four Cypress Staff members are recent world travelers. Their travels include cultural enrichment trips to: Asia (Cambodia, Vietnam), continental Europe, Eastern Europe (Romania), Greece, Turkey and South Africa.

Rich Cultural Community

Visitors to our campus often comment on the diversity of our student population. We are indeed a global community. We treasure ourcultural richness. It infuses our school family with an exposure to and an appreciationof the diversity in our world.

Cypress Adventist School is part of the community of Adventist schools which are operated in nearly 200 countries around the world. This affiliation enables us to be a part of the global world community.
